The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office was proud to announce the creation of a Citizens Leadership Council to strengthen community ties with the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office through increased dialogue and cooperation. The Leadership Council will consist of approximately 30 residents selected from across Monmouth County.

On a quarterly basis, the Sheriff's Leadership Council will meet with current Sheriff Golden and representatives from the Law Enforcement, Corrections  and Communications Divisions. Topics to be covered include the roles and responsibilities of Sheriff's Officers, the operation of Monmouth County Correctional Institution, and the recent technology improvements of the Sheriff's Office 9-1-1 Communications Center.
